After launching i-Buddy Connect 3G tablet for ₹9,990 earlier this year, Intex technologies has now rolled out its successor in India with an affordable price tag of ₹7,500.
First spotted by NDTV Gadgets at online retailer Shopclues, the new i-Buddy Connect II tablet sports a 7-inch WVGA display with 800x480 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Cortex A5 processor paired with 512MB RAM. The device houses a 2-megapixel rear camera, a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera and runs on the outdated Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
The tablet comes with voice calling support and packs 4GB of internal storage which can further expanded by up to 32GB using microSD card slot. On the connectivity front, it supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HDMI. The tablet comes preloaded with apps such as Nimbuzz, Skype, Facebook, Yahoo Messenger, Fruit Ninja, Moto Racing and Office Suit PRO and packs a 3000mAh battery which claims to give up to 300 hours of standby time and five hours of talk time.
