Intex is constantly expanding its smartphone portfolio in India. The company released its all-new Aqua Power 4G in India on Friday. The new budget smartphone priced at Rs. 6,399 is commensurate with the specs that come with it. The Intex Aqua Power 4G's price makes it a competitor to popular smartphones such as the Lenovo Vibe K5, the Meizu m2 and the Coolpad Note 3 Lite.

"The Aqua Power 4G offers seamless connectivity backed with a powerful processor," Keshav Bansal, Director of Intex Technologies, said in a statement. "The large screen and the latest Marshmallow OS will provide consumers an engaging smartphone experience."
According to Gadgets360, the Intex Aqua Power 4G is available both online and at offline retail stores across India. The ultra-affordable smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with pixel density of 267ppi. The Aqua Power 4G has a standard bar design with a textured finish at the back, which adds to the looks.
The Intex Aqua Power 4G features an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual LED flash, a 2MP front snapper, which is also accompanied by an LED flash. The dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor, which is coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB expandable storage. It runs Android Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, the Aqua Power 4G has an impressive 3,800mAh battery, which the company claims can keep the device charged up to 18 hours on talk time and up to 200 hours on standby. As the name already hints, the handset supports 4G LTE bands in India, including FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz), Band 5, and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz), as well as VoLTE with HD voice call support.
For its price, the Intex Aqua 4G offers quite a lot and its offline availability gives it an edge over its rivals, despite the Lenovo Vibe K5 and the Coolpad Note 3 Lite being superior on certain parameters.
