The 46th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is set to take place from 20-30 November in Goa. Indian Panorama 2015 has announced the final list of feature and non-feature films to be screened during the festival.
Of the 230 eligible entries, 26 feature films have been selected by the 14-member jury, headed by ace filmmaker Aribam Syam Sharma.
The other jury members are producer Tapan Biswas, cinematographer Mahesh Aney, actress-director Bhagirathi, director Dilip Patnaik, actor-director Phonsok Ladakhi, director Praveen Sattaru, actor-director Major Ravi, writer and critic Bharathi Pradhan, director and cinematographer Fowzia Fathima, actress-director Bijaya Jena, director Panchakshari and writer and critic M K Bhaskara Rao.
Four Malayalam films — Bash Mohammed's "Lukka Chuppi", Jayaraj's "Ottal", Sidhartha Siva's "Aim" and Dr Biju's "Valiya Chirakulla Pakshikal" — have been selected for screening during the fest.
Twenty one non-feature films have been selected from 146 entries by the jury chaired by filmmaker Rajendra Janglay.
Other members of this jury are editor-director Vinoo Choliparambil, producer-director Bachaspatimayum Sunzu, director Makarand Brahme, academician V Rama Rao, director Pramod Purswane and director Meenakshi Vinay Rai.
Sajitha Madathil-starrer 14-min short film "Ore Udal" is the only Malayalam project selected under the non-feature film category for IFFI 2015.
