US-based smartphone-maker InFocus launched its new phablet dubbed as M810 in India on Monday, 13 July.
The new InFocus comes packed with old, but powerful Snapdragon 801 quad-core CPU, feature-rich 13mp camera with True tone LED flash and other top-end features.
The specification list of InFocus M810 is similar to the two popular flagship smartphones, OnePlus One and Xiaomi Mi4, which recently got price cuts in India.
Prospective consumers who are looking to buy a high performance-oriented smartphone with budget-friendly price tag, then OnePlus One, Xiaomi Mi4 and InFocus M810 are worth taking a look.
To provide a better perspective on these phones, we have briefly compared the key specifications of InFocus M810, OnePlus One and Xiaomi Mi 4:
Display:
Xiaomi Mi4 sports a smaller rich 5.0-inch full HD wide-angle view display with 440ppi (pixels per inch) and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 shield.
OnePlus One and InFocus M10 are a bit bigger. They come with 5.5-inch full HD screen, but due to their larger display footprint, display resolution reduces to 401ppi.
Processor, RAM and Storage Capacity:
Though all three smartphones run on the super-fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 series quad-core CPU, which can clock a staggering 2.5GHz CPU, Xiaomi Mi4 and OnePlus One come on top as they are ably backed by sumptuous 3GB RAM.
But, InFocus M10 falls short due to 2GB RAM capacity. The only saving grace is that it comes with 16GB inbuilt memory with an option for expansion up to 64GB.
Whereas the other two devices come in 16GB and 64GB storage models without microSD card slot.

Camera:
Both Xiaomi Mi4 and OnePlus One boasts 13mp Sony IMX214 camera with 6 element lens, f1.8 aperture features, but they differ in front camera specifications. The former packs 8mp camera, whereas the latter houses a 5mp camera.
On the other hand, InFocus M810 is no less of a competitor, it too features a 13mp with Sony Exmor R sensor, F2.2 aperture, auto-focus and double LED flash. It houses a 5mp camera, which is enough to get a descent selfie.
Mobile operating system:
All three smartphones run on the Android OS, but differ in version and custom UI.
OnePlus One comes with Android 4.4 KitKat based CyanogenMod CM11S, but the new upgrade CM12S (Android 5.0 Lollipop) has been already released to the public. The company due to the bitter fallout with its software-maker Cyanogen has released one of their own community build OxygenOS (based on 5.0 Lollipop) as well.

Xiaomi Mi4 runs on a tweaked Android OS with MIUI v6.0, whereas InFocus M810 is shipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
Price:
Price is one of the most important aspects of this comparison article as it plays a crucial role in the minds of the price-sensitive middle class working population, which form the biggest chunk of the India's demography.
As per the latest reports, prospective buyers can bag the Xiaomi Mi 4 -16GB and 64GB -models for just ₹14,999 and ₹19,999 respectively at Xiaomi's official e-Store, Mi.com/in (HERE).
