The smartphone market in India is booming and consumers are attracted towards premium budget smartphones with great potential. Smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 2, YU Yunicorn, Meizu M3 Note and others have redefined how we look at smartphones with high-end specifications. Now, InFocus is joining the battle with its impressive M535+ selfie-centric smartphone in India.
InFocus, the U.S.-based smartphone maker, launched M535+ in India on Monday, expanding its affordable smartphone portfolio and succeeding the original M535 smartphone. The all-new M535+ comes with major upgrades as compared to its predecessor. The biggest USP of the M535+ is the highly-capable 13-megapixel camera sensor on the front side of the device to take selfies.
InFocus M535+ also has a classy design with diamond-cut chamfered edges and a full metal body. It features 5.5-inch Full HD display with 401ppi, which is now a standard among most budget premium phones in the market. The M535+ has an equally impressive 13-megapixel shooter along with an LED flash on the rear side of the device.
"Riding on the popularity of M535 and further expand the metal series line-up, we have launched the new InFocus M535+ which is designed to cater to the pro-selfie generation who is looking for best camera, more power and style in their smartphone," Sachin Thapar, country head of InFocus India, said in a statement. "With the powerful 13 MP front camera with Auto Focus on M535+, anybody can be a Selfie expert."
In terms of the remaining specifications, InFocus M535+ isn't the one to disappoint. It is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, 3GB RAM and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The handset comes with 16GB onboard storage with option to add more using microSD cards. It supports 4G and VoLTE for high-speed browsing and crystal-clear audio calls. Under the hood, the M535+ packs a 2,600mAh battery.
At Rs. 11,999, InFocus M535+ is aptly priced to compete against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 2 and others. As part of the launch offer, InFocus is offering a free selfie stick worth Rs. 1,000 with the device. The device is available across all leading retails stores in India.
