InFocus, the American smartphone manufacturer, has brought a new device to the Indian market. InFocus M330 Limited Edition, which dons a full black exterior, went on sale today (5 May) exclusively on Snapdeal for the same price as its regular variant.
InFocus expected a strong demand for its M330 Limited Edition phablet and suggested registered buyers to make the purchase quickly. The handset is still available for purchase on Snapdeal for Rs. 9,999.
InFocus M330 is a great under-₹10,000 smartphone. It sports a 5.5-inch HD display with 267ppi and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor while Mali-450 GPU takes care of the graphics. Also onboard is 2GB RAM and 16GB memory with expandable up to 64GB.
InFocus M330 Limited Edition packs a 13-megapixel, rear-facing Sony Exmor R sensor with flash and an 8MP front cam with AF and CMOS sensor. The handset comes loaded with a 3,100mAh battery, promising up to 18 hours of talk time. Other features of the M330 include 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and dual-SIM slots.
"The Indian consumers have truly surprised us in terms of demand of InFocus smartphones. When we entered the market, we did not want to do flash sales model and wanted to make the phones available very easily. But with the unprecedent response we have received, it is becoming difficult for us to keep supply and demand in balance. Our sale shifted to flash sales model as everytime we are bringing new phones, they get sold out in 12 to 24 hours," Sachin Thapar, Country Manager for InFocus Mobiles, said in a statement.
There is no information on how many M330 Limited Edition units are available on its first sale, but the stocks might exhaust in less than a day. The handset's specs make it a compelling device, compared to Xiaomi Redmi Note and Huawei Honor 4X. InFocus wins over its rivals with better camera and processor, making the competition tougher in the budget smartphone space.
InFocus M330 regular variant is already available on Snapdeal for ₹9,999. There is no difference between the regular and the limited edition variants of the M330, except for the colour.
If you are looking for a budget device, InFocus has you covered with its M2 smartphone. The handset sports a convenient 4.2-inch HD display, 8MP rear and front cameras, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB expandable memory and a 2,010mAh battery. InFocus M2 is also available via Snapdeal for Rs 4,999.
