Celebrity couple Indrajith Sukumaran and Poornima Indrajith's daughters Praarthana and Nakshatra are set to make their grand entry to Mollywood with the upcoming Mammootty-starrer. The star kids turn singers for the Malayalam movie The Great Father.
Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, the uncle of the kids, announced the news about their entry to the industry via his Facebeook page. "Introducing..playback singers Prarthana and Nakshatra Indrajith! #TheGreatFather #GopiSundar [sic]." The upcoming family entertainer is being bankrolled by the young superstar under the banner of August Cinema, co-owned by actor Arya, director Santhosh Sivan and entrepreneur Shaji Nadesan.
Proud parents Indrajith and Poorima also shared the joyful moment of seeing their daughters making their debut as singers in the Mammootty movie. "Proud to announce that both my daughters Praarthana and Nakshatra are debuting as singers through 'The Great Father' [sic]," Indrajith shared on his social media page. Meanwhile, Poornima has gone emotional with a post that reads: "I am far from being perfect but when I look at my kids I know I got something in my life perfectly right! [sic]."
Popular musician Gopi Sunder composes the music for The Great Father, which is the directorial venture of Haneef Adeni. The movie, which was earlier rumoured to have been titled My Dad David, marks the comeback of actress Sneha and is also said to star Ann Maria Kalipilaanu-fame Sara Arjun in significant roles. The Mammootty-starrer has been scheduled to hit the screens in December locking horns with Mohanlal's Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol.
