From starting his career in the camps in Afghanistan to now being one of the premium bowlers all over the world, leg-spinner Rashid Khan has been one of the stories in cricket in the last two years.
The young Afghani has been one of the marquee players and different franchise all across the world are keen to snap him up and use his services, especially in the shortest format.
He has managed to acquire quite a fan following and in a recent post by Deepak Chahar, a young boy can be seen emulating the action of Rashid and also getting the ball to rip.
"There are many Rashid Khan @rashid.khan19 in India now one in my academy, everyone wants to be best," Chahar wrote with the video.
Rashid is currently playing for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League in Australia. He has hit the ground running with impressive figures of 3/19 and followed it up with another brilliant performance in the next game against Melbourne Renegades as he finished with figures of 2/13.
He is very close to achieving the magical figure of 100 wickets in one calendar year. With his performances in the BBL, he zoomed past Dwayne Bravo's tally of 87 wickets in a calendar year recently to create the record for most wickets in a calendar year in T20s.
The leggie was retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of the Indian Premier League auctions.
In a recent post, former Australian batsman Brad Hodge said that Rashid Khan is the greatest T20 player of this generation.
