On Thursday, several Indians blamed Anushka Sharma for Virat Kohli's poor performance and India's loss at the semi-final match against Australia.
Anushka was in Sydney to support her boyfriend and to cheer for the Indian cricket team, but in turn several blamed her for "bringing bad luck" and called her "panauti" (unlucky) for the team.
Social media platforms Twitter and Facebook were flooded with negative comments blaming Anushka. But Bollywood celebrities including Sushmita Sen, Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan among others supported the "NH10" actress and instead slammed viewers who targeted Anushka.
Celebs said that its not only shocking to blame Anushka for her boyfriend's performance, but also disgusting.
