Reglobe, an Indian startup company, has inked an exclusive deal with India's top e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Snapdeal, eBay and Infibeam recently. Unlike other e-commerce sites, Reglobe promotes a re-commerce platform, for facilitating users to sell used laptops, mobile, tablet, desktop, TV and gaming consoles.
Earlier Reglobe had signed contract with Snapdeal, eBay and Infibeam for a couple of years. For extending its reach and user base, the re-commerce company has recently inked the Amazon exclusive buy-back partnership. ReGlobe mentioned that they will provide buy-back services to customers on these websites, across 5,500 pin codes across India.
How it works
Reglobe provides you a platform to sell off your old gadgets to an extensive range of customers. The re-seller offers good bargain for your used or old products. With the new partnerships, Reglobe intends to offer you the best buy-back offers on the web.
All you need to do is to open the Reglobe website and choose the specific model number of your mobile, tablet and/or the laptop.
Through these above-mentioned deals, you can get great cash-back offers from Amazon and SnapDeal while buying a new gadget in lieu of your older one. In the case of Infibeam, you can sell any gadget on its website for cash, irrespective of where the product was purchased.
Whereas on eBay, you can sell any gadgets and will receive credits in your account equivalent to the cash amount of the buy-back. After a quick online valuation of the product, Reglobe will instantly pick up the product from the consumers' doorstep, with payment in cash being made within 48 hours at the doorstep.
Currently, Reglobe provides direct pick-up from 30+ cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Kolkata. In other cities, Reglobe sends a FedEx return courier. After evaluating the used gadget, the user receives the money by bank transfer or cheque, within seven days. The company is also planning to enter new verticals such as air-conditioner, refrigerator and washing machines.
"ReGlobe provides a quick and convenient online platform for customers to sell their old/used electronic gadgets. On our platform, users receive an instant quote, followed by a free home pick-up, with cash being handed over on the spot. And all of this in just 48 hours! The process is then completed by our local network of partners who then refurbish the units to make them as good as new and sell through their local ecosystem," said Reglobe CEO and co-founder Mandeep Manocha.
According to a recent report by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India, the market for second-hand and recycled products is expected to cross ₹1,15,000 crore by 2015.
