Delhi Police have arrested Indian Mujahideen's (IM) current India commander Tehsen Akhtar alias Monu, leading news channels reported.
Akhtar is the main accused in a series of blasts targeting Narendra Modi rally in Patna in October.
This comes days after the arrest of IM's Pakistani bomb-maker Zia-ur-Rahman alias Waquas. The arrest of the IM operative will essentially wipe out the known leadership of IM in India, TOI has said.
Akhtar is a top operative of the terror group and was its leader since the arrest of Yasin Bhatkal in August. He is wanted in several recent terror attacks.
More details awaited.
