9:31 pm - Neha Kakkar, Anu Malik and Vishal Dadlani tell the youngest contestant Neelanjana to perform next time without being nervous on stage.
9:26 pm - Neelanjana from Alipur is the next and the final performer. Her idol singer Palak Muchhal feels that she is already ready for playback singing. She croons Ghoomar song from Padmaavat.
9:13 pm - Krishnakali Sahu from Tripura says she feels happy and confident about her herself after reaching this stage. Her idol Alka Yagnik advised her to never lose focus whatsoever. She performs on Aakhon Ki Gustakhiyan from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
9:09 pm - Anu Malik declares Soumya Chakraborty first classical singing rockstar of the season who can give tough competition to Salman Ali who stole everyone's heart on Saturday episode.
9:02 pm - Soumya Chakraborty from West Bengal gets blessings from his idol and ace singer Suresh Wadkar. He will showcase his classical style of singing in his performance.
8:46 pm - Sonia Gazmer from West Bengal takes off with a dramatic start while performing on Dhan Te Nan song from Kaminey. Her idol Suzanne D'Mello watches her rock the stage.
8:34 pm - Nitin Kumar gets standing ovation from all the three judges for his performance on Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.
8:25 pm - Nitin Kumar from Himachal Pradesh to perform next. But he could perform, host Maniesh Paul invites the contestant's idol and singer Kailash Kher on stage.
8:20 pm - Vibhor Parashar performs alongside his idol Amit Mishra on stage.
8:15 pm - Vibhor performs on Bulleya song from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in front of his idol and playback singer Amit Mishra who originally sung the song.
8:13 pm - Maniesh Paul calls Vibhor Parashar from Delhi, the next contestant to showcase his singing skills on stage.
8:08 pm - Vaishali Mhade, who originally sung the songs, praises Avanti for her fusion performance. Judges Vishal Dadlani, Anu Malik, Neha Kakkar too praise Avanti. The contestant gets emotional on stage after her mother reveals what she had told her before she took the stage.
8:07 pm - Avanti croons on Aatach Baya Ka Baavarla from 2016 Marathi blockbuster Sairat and Pinga from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Bajirao
Mastani.
8:05 pm - Avanti's singing idol Vaishali Mhade, winner of Zee TV's reality series, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009, wishes her good luck and hopes she goes a long way in the competition.
8:02 pm - Host Maniesh Paul invites Avanti Patel from Mumbai on stage. She will be the first performer in today's episode.
The tenth season of singing reality show Indian Idol will air its second part of the grand premiere on July 29 and all the top 14 contestants will be seen performing to at their best and will hope to win audience's hearts who will cast their vote for their favourite contestant and help them move one step closer to their dream.
The three judges - Anu Malik, Vishal Dadlani and Neha Kakkar - will be closely monitoring and analysing the remaining 7 contestants' performances. Singer Kailash Kher will make an appearance in the show and will be seen having a blast with the contestants and host Maniesh Paul who will be wearing unique and extraordinary shoes in every episode.
