The date for Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2016 and the nomination list of the award show have been revealed. Organisers of IFFM 2016 have released the full nomination list that has "Bajirao Mastani" in almost all the categories.
The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2016 will commence from Aug. 11 and will continue till Aug. 21. This happens to be the fifth year of the prestigious award show and this time it will have "Women Empowerment" as the central theme.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani," starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, has dominated in almost all the award shows since its release and looks like Melbourne Indian Film Festival 2916 will be no different.
Out of the five categories, "Bajirao Mastani" has been nominated for all the four categories. Vidya Balan will be present at the event as the brand ambassador of IFFM 2016. Rishi Kapoor will be the Guest of Honour and will be honoured with the Excellence in Cinema Award. The 11-day long festival will witness 50 film screenings in 17 languages across four venues in Melbourne.
