Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma ringed in the New Year in style as the couple spent time together in Australia.
Kohli is currently leading his side against Australia in the four-match Test series and his wife, Anushka flew down following the promotions of her recently released movie, Zero to spend time with her husband.
The Indian side is standing on the brink of creating history in Australia as they lead the hosts 2-1 after three Test matches. Kolhi's side defeated the Aussies in the first Test match at Adelaide and in the third Test at Melbourne. The Australian side got their victory in the second Test match at Perth.
Kohli had a fantastic 2018, personally, ending the year with 1202 ODI runs with 6 centuries at an average of 133.56. In Test matches, the Indian captain scored 1322 runs at an average of 55.08 with five centuries and as many half-centuries.
Capping off a fine year, captain Kohli ushered in a perfect end to 2018, both on and off the pitch. While his India team won the third Test by a convincing margin of 137 runs, he celebrated the victory and the New Year with his wife, Anushka.
The couple also spent New Year's Eve together and Kohli posted a photo with his wife on Instagram to wish everyone.
Anushka Sharma, on her part, also wished everyone a peaceful new year.
