India has got only one medal at the ongoing London Olympics so far with Gagan Narang winning a bronze medal in men's 10m air rifle on Monday, and the days that followed saw some disappoints and wins.
Some big Indian names will be seen in action today (Friday). Saina Nehwal, who beat former World No.1 Dane Tine Baun of Denmark 21-15, 22-20 in Women's Singles quarterfinal on Thursday, will play Yihan Wang of China in the semi finals.
The day will also see bronze medalist Gagan Narang in men's 50 m rifle prone qualification stage 2. Tennis pair Leander Paes and Sania Mirza will also play Max Mirnyi and Victoria Azarenka in mixed doubles quarterfinals. They beat Serbian pair of Nenad Zimonjic and Ana Ivanovic 6-2, 6-4 on Thursday.
