Kokrajhar, Dec 29 (ANI): Security forces recovered vehicles allegedly used in last week's militant attacks in Assam from a dense forest close to the India-Bhutan border.
Indian army and Assam state police recovered eight motorbikes and a car in a joint operation. India has intensified army operations to hunt down tribal militants in Assam after rebels killed at least 80 people last week, the deadliest in the remote area in years.India has also sought cooperation from Bhutan, Myanmar and Bangladesh in the offensive against the tribal militants. For decades, the Bodos have been fighting for a state of their own called Bodoland, accusing New Delhi of plundering their state's resources and flooding the area with outsiders.
