India's upcoming tour of Bangladesh was confirmed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) through their official Twitter handle on Monday.
India will be playing a one-off Test and three One Day Internationals (ODIs) during this tour, which is scheduled to start on 10 June, 2015.
The first and the only Test will be played at Fatullah (June 10-June 14). This Test will be followed by three ODIs , all of which will be played at Mirpur on 18 June, 21 June and 24 June.
The BCCI tweet read:
"News Alert: #TeamIndia will tour Bangladesh in June to play a one-off Test and three ODIs."
This was followed by another tweet that confirmed the venues and dates:
"#IndvsBan - Test match at Fatullah (June 10-14), 1st ODI (June 18), 2nd ODI (June 21), 3rd ODI (June 24). All ODIs will be played at Mirpur."
Cricketing relation between India and Bangladesh was a little disturbed after the controversial ICC World Cup 2015 quarter final between these two countries. The Bangladesh Cricket Board accused the match officials of being biased.
Rohit Sharma was caught off a no-ball, which was not supposed to be and later he went on to complete his superb ton against them. ICC President Mustafa Kamal also blamed the match officials for the same.
Bangladesh since the World Cup, seem to have come off the edge and have played some brilliant cricket. They whitewashed Pakistan 3 - 0 in the ODI series that recently concluded. They also played a Test that was drawn and Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes shattered many records by putting 312 runs for the first wicket.
Bangladesh are scheduled to play the second Test that starts on 6 May.
