The Team India skipper in T20 and ODI formats, MS Dhoni, was seen bowling at the nets of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore to Test captain Virat Kohli on Friday.
This was not the first time Dhoni was seen bowling. He has done it on a number of occasions earlier and that too in international matches.
The Indian players are attending a preparatory camp at the NCA ahead of the much awaited India vs South Africa series.
Thirty probable players were announced in the first week of September who were supposed to attend this camp in Bangalore. Twelve of them were released as they will have to resume their services for their state teams in the Ranji Trophy.
The players who were released did not make it to either T20 or ODI squad.

Kohli had no problems in dealing with Dhoni's medium pace. He looked classy as ever in the nets as well. Dhoni did bowl to Kohli for quite some time after the former was done with his net sesions with his willow.
Earlier in the day, Team India interim director Ravi Shastri heaped praises on Dhoni in a press conference at the NCA. He went on to say that Dhoni is one of the greatest cricketers that world cricket has ever produced. Shastri also referred to him as a "champion" and is almost certain that India will overcome the Proteas in the forthcoming series under his able leadership as well.
"You are talking of a seasoned campaigner (MS Dhoni), one of the greats of the game. So he takes over something he has been doing all this while, so things fall into place. The team has played under him, they played the World Cup under him. It makes no difference to the team. They are playing under a champion," Shastri told the reporters.
