India cricket team captain Virat Kohli has set the word straight. Team India are not going with a different mindset or any kind of pressure nor excitement, into the India vs Pakistan final in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 on Sunday June 18 at the Oval.
It ends the way it begins for both India and Pakistan. Sunday June 4 was the D-Day for both the teams as they played their first group match in the Champions Trophy 2017 in Birmingham, and now, they are back again for the big game!
Can India get their double? Remains the big question for now.
Nevertheless, Kohli has mentioned the calmness and the composure that the team enjoyed ahead of the June 4 match against Pakistan, is still there ahead of their dream final tomorrow.
"If we think too much about final, things like the trophy is on the line or how our performance will be, we absolutely can't focus on the match," said Kohli in the pre-match press conference. "People do well only because they don't think much. Those who get excited or nervous, cannot perform well in big matches
"There should be a calmness in the dressing and our only aim now is to play in the best way possible and get the win. We have to play with composure".
