Mustafizur Rahman has made history with two of his match-winning bowling performances against the former world champions, India. Bangladesh handed the mighty visitors with an ODI series defeat on Sunday, courtesy fiery spell from Rahman, who picked up six wickets in the second ODI against India.

Rahman has set his eyes on the third and final ODI against India at Mirpur and he wants to come up with a better performance. These words should frighten the fancy Indian lineup as they have been knocked out by this 19-year-old left arm medium pacer in the last two ODIs almost single-handedly.

Rahman has picked up 11 wickets in two matches against India in this ongoing series and he would look to carry on with this momentum.

"I feel great. My teammates have helped me a lot. I want to deliver a better performance in the next match," said Mustafizur in an interview with bdnews24.com.

Mustafizur has managed to fox most of the Indian batsmen with his slower off-cutters. And surprisingly, most of his 11 wickets came from slower deliveries. The Indian batting lineup gave up in front of this seamer during the second ODI and he also demolished them in the first ODI as well.

"During practice before this game, Heath Streak (Bangladesh bowling coach) told me that they (Indian batsmen) will be able to catch up with my bowling. But I told him that I have a different slower delivery. And that's what I did and finished successfully," Mustafizur added.

Most of the Bangladeshi players have heaped praise on this rising youngster. Mushfiqur Rahim has said that the Bangladeshi batsmen faced difficulties while playing Rahman in the nets. Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza also hailed Rahman for his match-winning performance.

"His bowling was the game changer. Even we struggle in the nets when he is bowling. How can the opposition keep up with him?" Rahim told the reporters.
