New Delhi/Rameswaram, June 25 (ANI): India has raised the case of release of 64 jailed fishermen with Sri Lankan ambassador as they get consular access to them, said MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to secure the release of the fishermen and with the increasing pressure from the leader, the matter was taken up through diplomatic channels.
