India's star batsman Rohit Sharma is now the proud owner of a sprawling 4 BHK apartment in the Ahuja Towers at Worli, South Mumbai. The estimated price of the luxurious property is reported to be around Rs 30 crore.
Sharma had booked the flat on the 29th floor of the 53-storyed building. It gives a 270-degree view of the picturesque Bandra-Worli Sea Link.
The Ahuja Towers in Worli was designed by Palmer & Turner Architects, Singapore.
The luxurious property has amenities like concierge services, a chef on demand, gym, yoga room, snooker room and a business area plus a pool with E-deck. For smokers there is also a cigar room. A mini-theatre for movie buffs, a swimming pool and a children area. Salon and spa facilities will also be available.
"He has been looking for a house for a while and I'm glad he has found a great property in Ahuja Towers, Worli, which is centrally located and is one of Mumbai's premium areas. For Rohit, location is important because of his lifestyle. So, the fact that it's just a two-minute drive from the sea link is a huge bonus. Ahuja Towers also has some top-notch amenities, which are a big draw," CEO of Cornerstone Sports & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Bunty Sajdeh said in an interview to DNA India.
The property's prime location seemed to have attracted the Mumbai Indians captain. Wankhede Stadium, where Rohit usually hit the nets will be a 20-minutes drive from this place and so will be the Mumbai airport, because of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.
"It's a pleasure to have India's cricket icon as one of our star residents," a spokesperson of Ahuja Construction told the reporters.
