16:40 pm IST: The Delhi High Court has ordered a polygraph test on people linked with Najeeb Ahmed, the JNU student, who has gone missing since long. It said other leads in the case have not produced any result.
16: 15 pm IST: Hemant Bhargava has been appointed as the managing director of Life Insurance Corporation of India.

15.40 pm IST: The crucial Assembly election in UP will kick off on Saturday (Feb 11). In the first phase (seven in all), 2.6 crore people are eligible to cast their ballots in 73 constituencies.
15: 30 pm IST: India declare their first innings against Bangladesh in the one-off Test in Hyderabad at 687 for 6. Wicket-keeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha became the third centurion in the innings with a unbeaten 106. This is India's fifth highest score in Test cricket.
