This year's Independence Day will witness a big clash among films at the box office.
Several biggies across different film industries are lining up for release during the Independence Day weekend (15-17 August).
Anjaan (Tamil)
Suriya's "Anjaan" is one of the most-anticipated films of 2014. The action entertainer is gearing up for release on 15 August. Since director Lingusamy and Suriya have teamed up for the first time for this film, expectations have been huge for "Anjaan."
The first look posters have created a positive buzz among fans and they are waiting to see the first look teaser, which is set to be released on 5 July. The film's shooting is completed and the post production work is going on in full swing.
Its audio, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, is expected to be launched in July. The trailer might also be released along with the audio on the same day.

Rabhasa (Telugu)
Jr NTR's "Rabhasa" is likely to release on 14 August for the long Independence Day weekend. The film's shooting is expected to be wrapped up soon after which post production work will commence.
Directed by Santosh Srinivas, "Rabhasa" is deemed a youthful family entertainer. The first look teaser of the film, which was released on the occasion of NTR's birthday in May, looked promising. The audio and trailer release of "Rabhasa" is likely to happen on 20 July.

Singham Returns (Hindi)
Ajay Devgn's "Singham Returns" is all set to roar on 15 August. The actor will be reprising the role of a tough cop Bajirao Singham in the film, directed by Rohit Shetty.
"Singham Returns" will be the second film in the popular "Singham" franchise. The film will have Kareena Kapoor Khan playing the female lead opposite Ajay Devgn.
"Singham" was a remake of the Tamil film "Singam", starring Suriya and Anushka Shetty. The Hindi version turned out to be a big hit at the box office, following which director Rohit Shetty decided to do another film in the franchise.
"Singham Returns" will not be the remake of Tamil film "Singam 2", sequel to "Singam."
