Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal and controversies go hand in hand. In the latest, the Delhi chief minister drew netizens' ire after some students, taking part in an Independence Day parade at a stadium, were seen holding placards with Kejriwal's name instead of Jai Hind or any other patriotic message.

After taking part in a flag hoisting ceremony at his residence, Kejriwal was attending the Independence Day parade at Chhatrasal Stadium in the national capital when the placards praising him popped up. The chief minister has since become a hot topic of discussion on the social media.
The development was seen as yet another attempt of self-promotion by Kejriwal and many social media users criticised him for his "megalomaniac" behaviour.
"Shameful of Kejriwal to Use the Occasion of #IndependenceDay and children to advertise himself.....SHAMEFUL," says a social media user.
"Today is Kejriwal day or #IndependenceDay? How can Kejriwal be such a shameless megalomaniac & insult the nation," asks another person on Twitter.
