Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma have begun Imtiaz Ali's tentatively-titled film "The Ring" in Prague. And every other day, there's brand new inside information about the romantic-drama that is making the wait to its release real hard.
According to a BollywoodLife report, SRK will play a womaniser, who is a tourist guide (Harinder Singh Nehra) from Punjab and Anushka a Gujarati girl. The cast and crew have wrapped up a week of shooting in the capital city of Czech Capital and here's what the actor had to say about it on Twitter:
"Team of film supposedly called the 'Ring' let their hair down after a week of work. So happy 2 c them, didn't want to capture them in a foto."
Expected to hit the screens during the Independence Day weekend in 2017, "The Ring" will move to Budapest by first week of September for the second leg of their shooting schedule. Apparently, 80 percent of the film will be shot in Europe and the rest in Punjab.
What do the lead stars have to say about their film together?
Shah Rukh and Anushka are coming together for the third time. The leading lady is thrilled to be pairing up with the actor she debuted with in "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" and later worked with in Yash Chopra's swan song "Jab Tak Hai Jaan."
"It is awesome working with Shah Rukh Khan again. I'm very fond of him. I started my career with him so he will always have a very special place in my heart," Bollywood Hungama quoted Anushka as saying.
SRK is excited about the premise of the film. It is a happy, romantic film, which teaches its characters a lot about love. However, it isn't an upbeat film, which fits perfectly with the star's age.
