A lot has been written about Tata's upcoming hatchback Zica's features and launch dates, lately. But what may have been glossed over are its interiors and the engine specifications.
Intriguingly, motor buffs at Autos Arena have now shared the cabin images of Tata Zica, offering a peak in to the interior design of the yet to be launched Zica aka Kite. At first glance, the interior of the Zica is quite impressive with its neatly placed dashboard and the colour theme.
The images reveal that the cabin of Zica gets dual-tone black and beige colour with piano back accents. It would be interesting to note that the cabin is completely different from its predecessor, Indica, and features integrated music system with bluetooth connectivity, aux and USB connectivity, voice commands and multi-function steering wheel.
The hatchback is also expected to get a height-adjustable driver seat, dual front airbags and ABS with EBD. The Zica's features list is also expected to include electrically adjustable ORVMs and rear defogger. In terms of exterior style and design of Zica too, the engineers of Tata have done a commendable job.
Now this bit is for the uninitiated, to be offered in both petrol and diesel engines, the power line-up of Zica is expected to include a new 1.05-litre three-cylinder common-rail diesel motor that can churn out 64.1bhp and 140Nm of torque, and an all-new 1.2-litre petrol engine. The transmission duty in Zica is likely to be handled by a five speed gearbox, and we also heard that there could be an AMT variant on offer.
Rumour mills are on a roll for last few weeks with several launch dates linked for the Tata's next big ticket, and the latest we heard is that the global unveiling of Zica will take place in the first week of December.
