Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has declared the Round - 1 of seat allotment result for admission to various IITs-ISM, NITs, IIITs and other Government Funded Tenchnical Institutions (GFTIs) on Tuesday, 7 July.
Students, who had appeared in the IIT Jee (Main) 2015 exam and filled-in their choices for admission to technical institution can check their seat allotment result on the official JoSAA website.
The details, including opening and closing ranks, category wise ranking and institute codes, of Joint Seat Allocation 2015, Round - 1, has also been published here and here.
The seat allocations were done on the basis of category-wise All India Rank and preferences given by students.
"Based on the category-wise all India ranks in JEE (Main) 2015 Paper-1, JEE (Main) 2015 Paper-2 and JEE (Advanced) 2015, and preferences exercised by the candidates, seats were allocated for Round 1 using DA algorithm implemented by NIC and IIT Kanpur teams," JEE Advanced website said.
A total of 1,52,655 candidates had filled-in 1,29,58,458 choices for the several courses by 87 institutes, including 18 IITs, ISM, 31 NITs, 18 IIITs and 18 GFTIs.
