The organisers of the 17th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards are leaving no stone unturned to make the event a grand affair. After Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar, the organisers have roped in Karan Johar and Fawad Khan to host the event.
Fawad, who is riding high on the success of "Kapoor and Sons," will host the event for the first time with Karan. While Shahid and Farhan will host the main event, Karan and Fawad will host IIFA Rocks, which will be held on June 24.
IIFA Rocks will be held on June 24 at Pabellón 6 - IFEMA Feria de Madrid, Spain. Celebrities are expected to walk on the Green Carpet from 6 p.m. (9.30 p.m. IST) and the event is expected to kick start at 8.30 p.m. (12 p.m. IST).
IIFA Rocks will have performances by Pritam, Meet Brothers, Parineeti Chopra, Kanika Kapoor, Benny Dayal, Neeti Mohan, Monali Thakur, Papon, Elli Avram, Daisy Shah, Sooraj Pancholi and many more.
IIFA Awards 2016 will be a grand event with Bollywood biggies, including Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Boney Kapoor, Sridevi, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Dia Mirza, Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani, Kabir Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Neha Dhupia, Sohail Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Madhavan, Aftab Shivdasani and Shriya Saran attending it. The main event will be held on June 25 and Shahid and Farhan will return as host for the show.
IIFA 2016 will also witness power-packed performances by several celebrities, including Salman, Hrithik, Deepika, Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha.
