Although Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone sat with the media talking about their big win at IIFA Awards 2016 (which concluded on Saturday in Madrid, Spain), there's been strong murmur that all is not well in between the rumoured couple. Reports suggest their busy schedules are impacting their relationship.
According to sources, they "maintained distance" from each other at the awards gala.
"Time is playing the villain between the two. Their busy schedules do not allow them to spend much time together. After they finished shooting and promoting Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani together, they moved away for their respective work commitments. During the past few months Ranveer has been shooting with Aditya Chopra for Befikre in Paris while Deepika has been in LA shooting her Hollywood film XXX," the Asian Age quoted an insider as saying.
Some say Deepika's way of keeping the relationship away from the media by not talking about it is another reason why the lovers are drifting away. Ranveer may not have openly admitted to his love for her, but he is very demonstrative, a source told SpotboyE.
The news comes close on the heels of Deepika's statement, in which she mentioned that what she has with Ranveer will never change. When asked if their relationship has hit a rough patch, the actress told the Hindustan Times: "Well, there's nothing to respond to because as I said, 'I have never responded to such sort of things and I don't plan to do the same anytime soon. I have never commented on anything before, so I wouldn't say anything even now."
