The countdown to India's prestigious award ceremony, the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards, has begun. Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Farhan Akhtar, Sooraj Pancholi and Daisy Shah were among the celebrities who have headed to Madrid, Spain, for the four-day extravaganza.
Deepika, who has just returned from the shooting of her Hollywood debut "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage," spotted at the Mumbai airport on June 20. She looked stunning in her airport look, dressed in rigged jeans, white top and black jacket with black pumps and same colour shades.
Hrithik arrived at the airport with his two kids – Hrehaan and Hridhaan. The handsome hunk will perform at the 17th edition of IIFA Awards along with other Bollywood actors. The highlight of the IIFA Awards will be six outstanding acts by the biggest stars in Bollywood like Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika, Hrithik, Sonakshi Sinha and Tiger Shroff.
This year's IIFA events will also witness superstars Fawad Khan and Karan Johar who will host the IIFA Rocks gala, while Farhan Akhtar and Shahid Kapoor will host the Nexa IIFA Awards. Scheduled to be held from June 23 to 26, the four-day extravaganza will include events like IIFA Rocks/MULA Fest, IIFA Stomp, an exhibition of urban trends and the magnificent IIFA Awards. Last year, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor had entertained the audience as co-hosts, but this year Shahid and Farhan will take the place. The duo has also hosted IIFA in 2014.
Ranveer Singh, Boney Kapoor, Sridevi, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Dia Mirza, Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani, Kabir Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Neha Dhupia, Sohail Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Madhavan, Aftab Shivdasani, Shriya Saran, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Bipasha Basu, Huma Qureshi, Sonu Sood, Jackie Shroff, Richa Chaddha, Frieda Pinto, Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi are among the celebs who will attend the IIFA 2016.
