After weeks of rumours, Sony finally pulled the wraps off the company's new smartphones -- Xperia X Compact and Xperia XZ -- at the ongoing IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin) 2016.
The new Xperia XZ and X Compact come with top-of-the-line camera hardware on the back. Both the devices boast 23MP with 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor, predictive hybrid auto focus, quick launch (less than 0.03 seconds), 5x clear image zoom, 24mm wide-angle G Lens F2.0 aperture and Pulse LED flash.
On the front, Xperia X Compact features a 5MP snapper having 1/3.06-inch Exmor RS mobile image sensor. On the other hand, Xperia XZ houses a superior 13MP camera with 22mm wide-angle lens with f/2.0 aperture.

"With Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact you can capture every moment as you see it, with blur-free images day or night, and with true to life colours thanks to our new triple image sensing technology," Furumi added.
In terms of internal hardware, 4.6-inch Xperia X Compact features Snapdragon 650 hexa-core CPU backed by 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory and 2,700mAh battery.
The Xperia XZ sports a bigger 5.0-inch full HD screen and houses powerful Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage and a 2,900mAh battery.
Sony Xperia XZ and X Compact release and price details:
The Xperia XZ will be released globally in October 2016, while the Xperia X Compact will hit stores later this month. However, the price details of the new Sony smartphones are still to be announced.
