Keralites can easily recognise actors Mohanlal and Lalu Alex in this old photo, which was captured on the filming location of 1987 Malayalam movie January Oru Orma. But if you are asked to spot a successful director among these kids, it would be a tough task.
Interestingly, this filmmaker has directed both Mohanlal and Lalu Alex in his movies. To be precise, the particular kid in this image began his career as a director with a superhit Mohanlal starrer apart from helming two other projects with the superstar. Still cannot guess his name?
Rosshan Andrews, who directed Mohanlal and Sreenivasan's Udayanaanu Tharam has shared the photo on his Facebook page, and yes he is that particular kid we are talking about.

"The boy on the right side with green blanket is Director Rosshan Andrrews. Who got an opportunity to direct these wonderful actors. Thank God for making my wish [sic]," reads a recent social media post of Rosshan.
Apart from the 2005 movie, The Notebook director again directed Mohanlal in films Evidam Swargamanu and Casanovva. Though the 2012 project, which also stars Lalu Alex in a pivotal role failed to make a mark at the box office, other movies of the 41-year-old filmmaker including Mumbai Police, How Old Are You, 36 Vayadhinile and School Bus have been well accepted by the audience.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal, who began his acting career in 1980 with Fazil directorial Manjil Virinja Pookkal, is basking in the success of three back-to-back blockbusters, including Telugu movie Janatha Garage and Malayalam projects Oppam and Pulimurugan. The movies have been listed among the biggest grossers of the year.
