Looks like Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, who are currently shooting for Remo D'Souza's "ABCD 2", are planning to pay a tribute to the Men in Blue for World Cup 2015.
Recently, a picture of Varun and Shraddha clicked on the sets surfaced online, in which they were seen sporting the Indian team's jerseys. While Shraddha's jersey had Team India written on it, the "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya" actor was in a tri-colour T-shirt, hinting at a song being shot.
Although, no official statement has been made on the same, going by the current World Cup fever, it won't be a surprise if Bollywood comes up with a song dedicated to the Indian cricket team.
Meanwhile, just ahead of India's match against Pakistan on Day 2 of the World Cup 2015, the makers of Sushant Singh Rajput starrer "M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story" had launched a song titled "Phir Se", dedicated to the Indian team.
"M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story" is a film based on the life of Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. "'Phir Se' is our tribute to the inherent passion our players have for the country and the love we have for our team. We just want to tell them through this wonderful track that they have always made us proud and we are always with them, unconditionally," Sushant told PTI in a statement.
"ABCD 2" is a sequel to D'Souza's dance film "ABCD" and will seen Varun play the character of a waiter while Sharddha will be seen portraying a hairdresser. Apart from the "Badlapur" actor and "Haider" actress, the film also features ace dancers Prabhu Deva, Salman Yusuff Khan, Lauren Gottlieb and Punit Pathak.
