India Test skipper Virat Kohli is the only Indian batsman in the top 10 list of the latest Reliance International Cricket Council (ICC) Test rankings. He could just manage to be there as Kohli was ranked number 10.
The list remains unchanged as Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka and South African batsmen Ab de Villiers and Hashim Amla hold first, second and third spot respectively.
India have four more players on the list of Top 50 Test batsmen apart from Kohli - Murali Vijay (23rd), Cheteshwar Pujara (24th), Ajinkya Rahane (26th) and Rohit Sharma (50th).
However, no Indian could find place in the Top 10 bowlers' rankings, topped again by South African sppedster Dale Steyn. He was followed by James Anderson of England. Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood also improved on their rankings after the first Test against West Indies, which Australia won by nine wickets in just three days of the match.
Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin holds the 13th spot in the rankings and will have a chance to make it to the Top 10 as India will be playing Bangladesh in a one-off Test match, which is scheduled to start on 10 June at Fatullah on the outskirts of Dhaka.
