Hong Kong-based iBerry, in collaboration with Elephone, will release a new budget handset, Auxus Prime P8000, in August. It was originally launched as Elephone P8000 in China in June.
iBerry Auxus Prime P8000 will be made available exclusive on Snapdeal later this month, reported NDTV Gadgets.
Specific release timeline and the price details of the device are still under wraps. But, going by the P8000's price - $169.90 (around €153/ Rs 11,130), listed on Elephone e-Store, it may cost around Rs 1,000 more in India due to customs duty.
The budget phone has a finger-print sensor on the rear-side (below the camera-module) just like HTC One Max. It boasts an advanced 360-degree finger-print ID technology, wherein the phone can register finger-impression input at any angle.
Other stipulated features include a 5.5-inch full HD display, Android 5.1 Lollipop, MediaTek Octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory, 13mp Samsung camera, 5mp snapper on the front and a high capacity 4,165 mAh battery, which can power the phone for close to four days.
