iBall India has announced its new hybrid tablet Slide WQ149 for just ₹24999. The Slide WQ149 is the first attempt from iBall to make a hybrid tablet. This two-in-one tablet comes paired with a magnetic pogo pin keyboard with an integrated touchpad.
The iBall Slide WQ149 features a 10.1-inch IPS WXGA display with 1200 x 800 pixels resolution. Powered by Intel Atom Z3735D processor clocked at 1.83GHz, this tablet is coupled with 2GB worth DDR3 RAM. On the connectivity front, it offers 3G data connectivity along with WiFi, Bluetooth and USB OTG functionality. The tablet is also coupled with 32GB on-board memory and can be further enhanced up to 64 GB by appending a microSD card. The iBall Slide WQ149 also features essential connectivity features like A-GPS and mini HDMI port. The tablet also houses a 5 MP primary camera and a 2-MP camera in the front.
iBall offers a magnetic pogo keyboard in the package too. It also offers 1TB of cloud storage access free for one year on OneDrive and a free one year subscription of Microsoft Office.
The iBall Slide WQ149 is also accompanied by a 31.08-watt polymer battery for stand-by power. The tablet will soon be available for purchase across store at a price of ₹21999. At this price point, two tablets are available in the market -- Dell Venue 8 Pro and Notion Ink CAIN 2-in-1. Dell Venue 8 Pro don't offers 3G connectivity, though iBall may have to face tough competition from the Notion Ink CAIN 2-in-1, which offers almost similar specification at a lower price availability.
