Indian smartphone manufacturer iball has launched two budget smartphones Andi4P IPS Gem and Andi4 Arc in the country. iBall has listed both the smartphones on the official website.
While the Andi4P IPS Gem has been categorised with a listed price of ₹6,499, the manufacturer didn't disclose details of the Andi4 Arc's pricing. However, the Andi4 Arc has already been listed on e-commerce site eBay with a quoted price of ₹3,143.
Both the smartphones feature Dual SIM slots with an identical 4-inch WVGA IPS display with a quoted resolution of 480x800 pixels and a pixel density of 233 PPI.
Apart from this, the iBall Andi4p IPS Gem is powered by an ARM Cortex A7 Dual-Core processor running at 1.3GHz clock speed along with a RAM memory worth 1GB. The Andi4p IPS Gem features 4GB on-board storage out of which, 2GB would be left to the user.
Running on Android Jellybean 4.2.2 out-of-the-box, the Andi4p IPS is upgradable to Kitkat 4.4. The Andi4p IPS Gem also features 3G HSPA+ downlink 21Mbps, uplink 5.6Mbps, Edge / GPRS, GSM: 900/1800MHz, WCDMA: 2100MHz,Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0+ EDR on the connectivity front. Apart from these, the iBall Andi4p IPS GEM also boasts GPS, A-GP and G-Sensor and is backed by a 1,300 mAh battery.
On the other hand the iBall Andi4 Arc comes powered with a similar 1.3GHz Dual-Core Cortex A7 processor along with 256MB of RAM and 2GB of internal storage capacity. The Andi4 Arc also features MicroSD card support with a maximum support limit up to 32GB.
On the camera front, the Andi4 Arc features a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and a front camera for video calling with unknown specification. The device runs Android Kitkat 4.4 operating system and has necessary connectivity features including 3G HSPA+ downlink 21Mbps, uplink 5.6Mbps, EDGE / GPRS GSM: 900/1800MHz; WCDMA: 2100MHz, WI-FI 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth4.0+ EDR, • GPS, A-GPS and G-Sensor. The device measures at just 124.97 x 64.00 x 10.40 mm and weighs 105g.
