iBall has rolled out another low-cost tablet called iBall Slide 6309i for the Indian market with a price tag of ₹5,199.
The launch of iBall's latest took place on the same day when Micromax's Funbook Talk P360 7-inch tablet made its appearance on various e-commerce websites. The tablet sports a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 1024x600 pixel resolution and is powered by 1.2 GHz cortex A9 processor.
The tablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and packs 1GB of RAM plus 4GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB though a microSD card.
The tablet will compete with other tablets like Micromax Funbook Talk P360, HCL ME U2, Videocon VT 75C and Lava Etab Xtron. It supports WIFI b/g/n, Bluetooth, HDMI and 3G via USB Dongle and comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera along with a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The tablet is powered by a 3000mAh Lithium-ion battery.
Earlier in March, iBall marked its entry into the tablet segment with Edu-Slide i-1017 targeted at students. It sports a 10.1-inch 1280X800 pixel resolution display and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor with G400 mail graphic processor.
The tablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and comes installed with educational content. It also features a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. It is priced at ₹12,999.
