iBall Slide 7271-HD70 3G Voice-Calling Tablet Launched in India; Price, Availability Details

Home grown tech firm iBall expanded its tablet portfolio in India with the launch of Slide 7271-HD70 voice-calling tablet.

iBall Slide 7271-HD70, the latest addition in iBall Slide series is available for purchase in the country through the company's official website at a price point of ₹8,999. Whereas, the e-retailer Infibeam has listed the tablet with a price tag of ₹7,799.

The tablet sports 7-inch display with a resolution of 600x1024 pixels and is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and comes with 1GB RAM. It comes with connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPS/A-GPS and 3G.

iBall Slide 7271-HD70 is a dual SIM tablet and is believed to be the successor to iBall's 3G 7271 HD7. The tablet packs 8GB built-in storage, with no mentioning of expandable option. Out of 8GB internal storage, 2GB is used by OS and other applications. The device comes equipped with 2.0-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera and is powered by 3000 mAh battery.

Earlier last week, iBall launched Slide 3G17 in India at ₹8,199. It sports a 7.0-inch WVGA (800x480p) screen, comes with Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS powered by 1.3GHz ARM Cortex A7 dual-core processor and packs 512MB RAM and 4GB inbuilt storage. It boasts a 2.0-megapixel main camera with flash support, a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front for video chat and 2500 mAh Li-Ion battery.
