Mumbai based technology company, iBall, has launched an affordable Android tablet PC called Slide Q9703, on Tuesday.
The new iBall Slide Q9703 sports a 9.7-inch QXGA IPS HD display with 2048x1536p resolution and pixel density of close to 264 pixels per inch. It features the ubiquitous Android mobile OS v4.1 Jelly Bean powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with an eight-core graphics engine and it boasts of 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory with options of expanding up to 32GB through a microSD card.
Speaking on the launch, Director of iBall, Sandeep Parasrampuria said, "It's an era of larger screens and stunning displays. This tablet's ultra high resolution and retina panel on quad-core processor and an octa-core GPU is going to provide terrific performance and a stunning viewing experience to their proud owners, I'm sure."
Slide Q9703 tablet PC is expected to be priced around ₹15,999, but the details regarding its date of availability is still under wraps.
Considering its feature-rich specs and low price-tag, Slide Q97013 will take on popular tablets like Google Nexus 7(16GB, Wi-Fi only) and Fonepad which also sells for the same price.
