The Internet is abuzz with talk that "The Vampire Diaries" actor Ian Somerhalder might be getting ready to pop the question to his "Twilight" actress girlfriend Nikki Reed.

The news garnered traction after several media reports stated that Somerhalder was spotted shopping at Neil Lane, which is iconic for its engagement rings. Although Somerhalder is yet to confirm the news, a source told E! News that the actor was in the store for about an hour. But it is not immediately known if he bought anything.

If Somerhalder does pop the question, it won't be a big surprise as the two have been gushing about each other all over their social networking platforms. A HollywoodLife source even said that Somerhalder feels Reed could be the one for him.

Dobrev and Somerhalder dated for a few years before going their separate ways, but this hasn't stopped their fandom from expressing a desire to see them together.
