Actor Kabir Duhan Singh, who was recently seen as don Chota Naik in Gopichand's "Jil", will play a villain in Surender Reddy's "Kick 2". He says that he will lock horns with actor Ravi Teja in the movie.
Kabir Duhan Singh is now fast wrapping up the shooting of "Kick 2″. "Director Surender is very happy with my work. I play actor Ravi Kishan's son and appear in the film at a very important juncture. I come from abroad and lock horns with Ravi Teja. The scenes between us will be much talked about," the model-turned-actor told IANS.
Kabir started his career as a model and made his acting debut as a villain in Telugu film "Jil", which released in theatres on 27 March. He is also working in Prajwal Devraj's 25th Kannada film. Meanwhile, he is in talks with the makers of Puneeth Rajkumar's next project and Ajith Kumar's upcoming film. He says that he wants to work only in big-ticket movies.
"Since I started with a big project, I can't afford to choose small projects now. Had the audiences not accepted me in 'Jil', I'd have thought about working in smaller project but I'm happy I've been welcomed. I'm only keen on working alongside big stars," Kabir told IANS.
Kabir says fitness is equally important for actors who play baddies. "Fitness is no longer just important for heroes. Even actors who play anti-hero roles give equal importance to being fit and looking good. We are in the entertainment industry and it matters how you look. As a villain if you're fit, you're hit," he said.
His performance in "Jil", which has been liked by everyone, has garnered him many offers down south. "Ever since the film's release, I have been flooded with calls from the south industry. My Facebook page has received a record number of likes. Although I'm a newcomer, I'm delighted that the audiences have accepted me. Their response has been overwhelming," he said.
