The Income Tax officials conducted raids at the residences of Rocking Star Yash, Kiccha Sudeep, Shivaraj Kumar, Puneeth Rajkumar and many other big names from Sandalwood on Thursday, January 3.
According to reports, the raids started early in the morning simultaneously at the offices and residences of leading actors and top producers. The I-T sleuths conducted raids at Yash's Kathreguppe residence and Hosakerahalli office, Puneeth Rajkumar's Sadashiva Nagar residence, Shivaraj Kumar's house in Manyata Tech Park, Rockline Venkatesh's Mahalakshmi Layout house and Vijay Kiragandur's Nagarabhavi residence.
Producer CR Manohar and leading producer-distributor Jayanna's house have also been raided.
Yash and Vijay Kiragandur are basking in the success of their blockbuster movie KGF, which has reportedly minted over Rs 100 crore at the worldwide box office. Whereas Puneeth Rajkumar and Rockline Venkatesh are gearing up for the release of their next biggie, Nata Sarvabhouma.
CR Manohar had funded Sudeep and Shivaraj Kumar's The Villain, one of the mega-budget movies released in 2018, while Jayanna is funding Shivanna's next movie Rustum.
The I-T department had planned for the raids for four months and booked 600 cars from 14 agencies, as per TV 9.
Meanwhile, Kiccha Sudeep is busy shooting in Mysuru and there is no information yet on his return to Bengaluru.
