Korean car-maker Hyundai's Indian arm Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) opened four new dealerships in Hyderabad, Telangana, on Wednesday, April 20. Among the four new dealerships, Saboo Hyundai in Secunderabad is South India's first digital outlet of the company.
Other three new dealerships are Fusion Hyundai at Bowenpally, Kun United Car Trax Pvt. Ltd at Lakdi ka pul and Talwar Hyundai at Jubilee Hills in Secunderabad area. While the digital outlet will have an area of 4300 sq ft., all other dealerships will have space more than 35,000 sq. ft.
"Hyderabad is a key markets for Hyundai in South India and have great economic potential. The addition of dealerships in the state reflects the commitment of Hyundai to offer modern and aspiration products to the consumers in this region. The new dealerships will be our ambassadors of Hyundai in the region and provide prompt and efficient service to customers," said Y K Koo, MD & CEO of HMIL, in a statement.
With the new dealerships, HMIL has increased its sales and service network in the country to 448 dealers. The company currently has a market share of 17.5 percent in India. Hyundai will launch the Tucson SUV and updated Elantra this year in the country.
