Spy photographers have managed to click yet another batch photo of Hyundai's upcoming ix25 compact SUV which is currently undergoing testing in the country.
The auto enthusiasts in the country have already seen numerous spy shots of Hyundai ix25 and the latest spy shot comes from the folks at AutoCar India. From the new spy shots, there is nothing much one can pull out. However, the repeated sighting of the vehicle on Indian roads tell us that the work of SUV is progressing at a rapid pace.
From what we have heard, South Korean auto maker is planning a festive season launch for ix25 and the India-bound model of the SUV is likely to follow the same styling and design of its international counterpart. The ix25 is expected to get features like central console with audio controls, air con vents and climate controls in India and we also hear that an all-wheel version is also on the card.
For now, the engine specifications of the SUV are closely guarded, however, the rumours on the web suggest 1.6 litre petrol and diesel units. In the international market, ix25 is sold with 1.6- and 2.0-litre petrol engines coupled to 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions with choices of front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
Likely to fall in a price brackets of ₹8 lakh to ₹12 lakh, Hyundai ix25 will be pitted against India's popular SUVs such as Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster, Mahindra Scorpio and Nissan Terrano.
