Hyundai's newest offering in the i20 line-up, Elite i20, adds another feather in the cap of South Korean auto maker. More than 100,000 units of Hyundai Elite i20 has been sold in India within 11 months of its entry into the market.

Elite i20, which came to the market with new styling and a slew of features, has received a warm welcome in the country and has also managed to be in the top 10 best selling cars in India within a short time of its launch. Based on Elite i20, Hyundai rolled out a crossover i20 Active in the country later.
Under the hood, Elite i20 gets 1.2 litre petrol engine and 1.4 litre CRDi diesel motor. While the petrol engine of Elite i20 can churn out 83ps of power and peak torque of 114nm, the diesel motor is tuned to generate 90ps of power and peak torque of 220nm.
Launched in August 2014, Elite i20 is now gearing up to add another feature, Touchscreen Infotainment System, in its list. The latest buzz on the web is that Hyundai will introduce Elite i20 with Touchscreen Infotainment System in the country on 8 July with a price tag slightly higher than the current model.
