Just ahead of its India launch on 21 July, the new Hyundai Creta has started arriving at dealer showrooms.
Folks at The Automotive India Forum have captured a prototype of the Hyundai Creta at a dealer showroom where the SUV is seen donned in red paint. The spy shots of the new Creta also show the interiors and exterior of the model.
Expected to be priced in the range of ₹8 lakh to ₹12 lakh, the new Hyundai Creta will challenge the dominance of Mahindra Scorpio, Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster in India.
Under the hood, the new Hyundai Creta is expected to be powered with 1.6 petrol, 1.4 diesel and 1.6 diesel engines.
From what we know so far, Hyundai Creta will be offered in six trims - Creta Base, Creta S, Creta S+,Creta SX, Creta SX+ and Creta SX(O).
While the 1.6 petrol engine will power Creta L (base), Creta S and SX+, the Creta L, S and S+ variants will get 1.4 diesel mills. The 1.6 diesel motor will be available in SX, SX+ and SX (O) variants.
The features in the new Creta include 16-inch wheels, body-coloured door handles, ABS, 2-DIN music system with CD/AUX/USB/iPod, Rear parking camera with guidelines, AVN, smart key /push button, chrome door handles, child seat anchor,60:40 split rear seat, side and curtain airbags, height adjustable seat belts and speed-sensing auto door locks.
The unofficial bookings for Creta are already underway in the country for a down payment of ₹50,000, suggest some reports.
