South Korean auto major Hyundai's compact SUV Creta is tipped to make its India debut on 21 July, and now ahead of its launch in the country, the company has rolled out the website for Creta.
The website currently previews the sketches of Creta that was released earlier by the company with a short description of the model. Hyundai Creta, a model based on the company's ix25, is aimed squarely at Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster, Mahindra Scorpio and Nissan Terrano in India.
Based on Hyundai's next generation Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 (FS2.0) Design philosophy, Hyundai Creta will share similarities with ix25.
Under the hood, ix25 Creta is expected to include 1.6-litre petrol and diesel mills with 5- and 6-speed manual transmission. As for styling, Hyundai Creta is expected to get bold front fascia with three slat front-grille and plastic cladding on the body.
Inside the cabin, Hyundai Creta is likely to get dual tone cabin with steering mounted control and driver arm-rest.
Likely to be priced between ₹8 lakh and ₹12 lakh, Hyundai Creta is expected to hit the assembly lines on 20 June.
