The Creta compact SUV has become one of the most successful vehicles launched in India by Hyundai Motor India. The vehicle became the most selling SUV in the country in August and the demand is still growing with bookings at the start of October standing at 54,000, according to reports.
Now, the Korean maker wants to replicate the same success story in the international market. As part of the plan, Indian made Creta is launched in Vietnam through Hyundai Thanh Cong. The Creta sold in Vietnam is made in Hyundai Motor India's Chennai manufacturing facility and is exported in left-hand drive version.
Visually, there are no changes for the Creta sold in Vietnam and in India. The Creta sold in Vietnam is powered by 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines.
